Stories!

LeighAnn and Rachel (left to right) are 2 girls who came on our fall break trip. LeighAnn and I first met 2 years ago when we went to Cumberland Island Georgia for spring break. She is also a cross country (CC) runner (the CC girls like to eat at my house). Rachel is a part of Titan Traverse (TT) and is also a CC runner who I have known since she came in as a freshman.
Rachel and I had a great conversation while running on our fall break trip. We talked about how our faith in Christ helps us deal with fears.
LeighAnn brings an energy and passion to life. Both girls are a joy to be around!
Pray for us as we walk (run :) together with Jesus!

More fall break fun!

Amber and Aimee (left to right) on our fall break trip enjoying some food!
Amber is part of the core team for FCA (fellowship of Christian athletes) and Aimee is a TT student who is also involved with another campus ministry called seekers.
Both of these women bring energy and excitement to those around them. Silly recreation is evident in their lives :) I am thankful for these women and the ways God is working in their lives!
Pray for Amber and Aimee as they live out there faith here at Westminster!

Fall Break!

You have to play this game to understand!
"We continued to be affirmed in our belief that good play, as well as good work, is part of the "lightness of being" afforded by the gospel. We told people that although Paul says we have the ministry of reconciliation, we also have the ministry of silly recreation. Silly recreation often leads to reconciliation, or just plain fun in a world that takes itself too seriously." -Kelly Monroe Kullberg
Here's to silly recreation!!

Fall Break!

That's me teaching Rachel how to tie a knot for rock climbing!

Rachel and I had great a great conversation about our fears and how our faith in Christ allows us to overcome them.

Rocking on with Jesus! :)

Cooking in the backcountry! Some of the best meals are made in the woods!
