Meeting students!

Spencer, my silly dog, has become the greeting commitee for students on campus. He loves people! While walking through campus we meet students with a smile and a wagging tag. Conversations have started where I get to meet new students simply because they ask, "can I pet your dog?"

The girls in my mentor group come over the house every Monday night and one of the first things they do (sometimes before even saying hi to me:) is say hi to Spencer! He is famous around here!

Spencer loves people! Pray that I love people like this lil guy!

Off and running!

God has blessed me with the ability to move! I am currently running with Jasmine, a sophomore at Westminster who is on the cross country team. When she first asked me, "hey would you mind running with me on Tuesday mornings" I was excited and little bit nervous about keeping up with this college runner. Our runs have turned into more than just running. We chat about everything as we log sometimes over 10miles a morning. We talk about our faith, what God is teaching us and what we are reading in scripture.
God has opened up a door where my love for students and passion for running go hand in hand. Pray for Jasmine and I as we run...may our conversations be encouraging and challenging to one another. Through this time may we know what it means to truly follow Jesus!
