horse adventure!

On Monday we visited Josh's friends farm where we explored the property and even tried to catch some horses! Spencer and Saydi (our dogs) enjoyed trying to heard the horses...they were not very successful!

Pray for us as we are finalizing wedding plans and counting down the days till our wedding! :)

Fall Break trip!

12 students, myself and my co-worker Amanda spent fall break living in community and exploring some beautiful places! Our theme for the trip was 'leave behind' where we talked about leaving things behind (like homework) to be fully present on the trip and to allow ourselves to be known by others. We hiked, biked and climbed in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Hinkley ledges.

New relationships were built and old ones were strengthened. Pray that these students know the greatest relationship of all, a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Out of the woods...

This is what Josh and I look like when we need to dress up for a special occasion! This picture was taken at one of Josh's former students weddings where he was asked to read scripture.
In our combined years of ministry we have seen students face some of life's greatest milestones (graduation and weddings to name a few). We have also walked alongside students as they deal some of life's greatest challenges.

We are thankful for the students God has placed in our lives and grateful that the gospel provides hope for students at all times of their lives.

Pray for us as we continue to walk alongside students and as we prepare for life together!

Titan Traverse overnight!

A day on the lake! Seven students and TT/CCO staff (Amanda and I) spent the night at a friend's cabin talking about being influential leaders. We enjoyed being a way from campus and had fun playing on the lake!

Pray for these students as they continue to learn and grow. May they know Christ's love deeply and may that influence their leadership!

Life...

We've been busy!!! Between the 2 of us we've spent countless hours with college students. Pray that our conversations and our lives reflect Christ's love to the students we get to walk through life with! Pray for us as we continue wedding plans and look forward to life together!

Ropes Course!

Why hang from tires?

These students are part of a group that works with me to keep the ropes course up and running. Groups from the campus and community come to learn how to work more effiectively as a team. We talk about communication, teamwork and trust by having participants do things like swing from tire to tire to reach a goal of getting to the other side.
